The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (May 16) compared to Wednesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 294 to Rs. 295.50 and from Rs. 303.50 to Rs. 305, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 295 to Rs. 294.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 306 to Rs. 305.50.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 296.16 to Rs. 296.89 and from Rs. 306.18 to Rs. 306.94, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 295.21 and Rs. 305. 50, respectively.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 297 to Rs. 297.50 and from Rs. 306 to Rs. 306.50, respectively.
